Dance 4 Climate Change completes its LINE-UP for- concert in PARKEN.
Top of the pops - celebrity singers and artists, plus one of the best DJs in the world, will perform at the concert with a conscience during crucial UN climate talks in Copenhagen
Some of the world's leading performers will gather in Copenhagen to sing and dance at the Dance 4 Climate Change concert event in Denmark's national football stadium, PARKEN on 7th December 2009 - the first day of the crucial United Nations Climate Convention meeting known as COP15.
Ferry Corsten, known as one of the best DJs and electronic music producers in the world is the last and final confirmed artist to perform at Parken this coming Monday. Djing all around the world, from Malaysia, to Los Angeles to Moscow in his own events and or other festivals such as Sensation, Creamfields, etc.. he is now ready to come to Copenhagen and kick start the Seal the Deal! campaign during the Dance 4 Climate Change concert with an electric and pulsating performance.
Also joining the multicultural line up are some of the world's most respected UN Goodwill Ambassadors and musicians Angelique Kidjo, Anggun, Cheb Khaled and Youssou N'Dour with the Super Stars of Dakar, international hit artists Akon, Shaggy, Europe, and Danish acts Rasmus Seebach, Nabiha, The Dreams, Brinck and Danseorkestret. They all will be performing to raise global awareness's on environmental protection, and at the same time helping to raise revenue to those in desperate need to have access to food and water.
Furthermore through international broadcasting coverage in over 40 countries including Japan, India, China, Morocco, Honduras, Tanzania, artists will seek to mobilize as many people as possible from different communities and cultures the importance for their leaders to agree and work together to Seal the Deal!
Organized in support of the UN-led global Seal the Deal! campaign, the concert is timed to send a clear message to world leaders to seal the deal on a powerful climate change agreement in Copenhagen.
Dance 4 Climate Change is a non-stop live concert event over 4 hours long, and it will end with Akon's 60-minute after party dance performance.
